Ethical and sustainable maternity essentials!

1.Hydrating Body Lotion by Sukin

I love Sukin and was gifted this for my birthday last year! It smells divine, and I love applying it! Will be buying it again once I’ve run out!

2. Dilling Underwear

Sooner than last time, the fancier underwear gets moved aside for pure comfort. I love the options from Dilling, not only how they’re made and their deep commitment to ethics but what they’re made from and how they feel on my skin!

3. The Nourishing Traditions Book of Baby and Childcare

Already a fan of Sally Fallon, I appreciate her straight-talking approach. It's probably controversial, but this book has been comforting and informative to me over my pregnancies/births etc.

4. Beyond Nine Jenny and Hugh

How many days is too many days to wear an outfit? This is basically the only outfit I feel comfortable in! A huge fan of Beyond Nine, I found the jumper on vinted and the trousers came for my birthday from Joseph!

5. One Green Bottle Water Bottle

Easy to clean, store and drink from! I’ve been carrying around jam jars and random vessels of water for too long so it feels good to have this! Will be a great maternity bag essential too!

6. Rheal Superfoods- Clean Greens

Before I got pregnant, my iron was flagged up for being super low. I was unsure about taking iron supplements and chose to try and naturally raise it. This aided in getting my levels up, helped me feel less bloated and I think made my skin look a lot brighter! I don’t enjoy drinking it, so try to add to a smoothie, or mix in with something and do a quick shot!

7. Boody bra

Comfort wins again! I have never really worn bralettes, or bras without underwire even though I want to because I have a large cup size but I was just getting too uncomfortable wearing my usual bra everyday for the full day. I love this bra for around the house and sometimes a venture out especially if i’m wearing baggy clothing haha!

8. Dragonfly Tea- Organic Vanilla Rooibos

I’ve only really got into Rooibois in the past year but I love that it’s caffeine-free and i enjoy it even more with a touch of vanilla!

9. Arnica Salve

I’ve experienced very bad sacrum pain during this pregnancy and have wanted something to help relieve the pain without taking conventional pain relief. I’ve loved this both in cream form and as a homoeopathic remedy.
