Ethical and Sustainable Christmas Gift Guides 2023
It’s November…somehow?! And thoughts of Christmas slowly infiltrate!
It’s always my hope to help you buy better when you need to! Whether you have no idea what shopping more responsibly looks like, or whether you’re a pro but just need some ideas- let this be for you!
I’ve been really challenged in my buying over the past few years. Buying responsibly is great, buying secondhand…better, but, do I even need to buy at all? There are lots of questions being asked and conversations being had. Let’s buy things to be loved and well used, passed on even. Let’s dig into a company’s ethics before we commit, let’s linger rather than buy on impulse, and let’s support the small guy, the start-up and minority-owned businesses.
For more, here’s an article I wrote a few years ago about responsible buying, for dotte diaries -an awesome secondhand platform.
Here’s is a list of 100 brands that pay a fair wage incase you needed other inspiration this year.
And you can find 22’s gift guide here, 2021’s gift guide here, and 2020’s here. These still remain presents I would buy from brands I love. There’s also an alternative gift guide here, with lots of free and creative ideas too.
Enjoy!
ps. some of the links are affiliate links this might mean I get a small cut but won’t change the pricing for you. This helps me to keep doing what I love to do!
