May Favourites

I’ve not done an update since DECEMBER?! What has happened? Well…

We’ve moved house, continue to run a business and homeschool so as you can imagine it’s wildly fun and time is running away. I’m currently sat at the dining room table whilst Moses plays next to me with playdough, Lazaraus is napping and my Mum-in-law is sewing a project with Heppy so this is my MOMENT.

Lets’ kick things off by saying HOLOS (our socially purposeful kombucha business set up in 2018) has launched the HOLOS foundation! Wahoo. Will fill you in more on that soon! With that, we have launched a new product- our sparkling tea cans, which donate 1p of every purchase to the foundation. They are delicious- my favourite is the rooibos ginger. You can find them here! You can get 15% off with OURSLOWHOME_

We have been loving the warm weather, and spending so much time outdoors. Lazarus is eating handfuls of mud and he really is happy as Larry (a nickname Joseph is trying to get to stick but I am not here for). Our co-op homed group is in full swing which is a complete joy. I feel in the middle of so many of the things we prayed and believed for and it’s been exciting to evaluate the kids needs and what they’re hungry for. Heppys been loving reading Beti and the Roundhouse and we’ve loved The Book of Belonging as our bible story before bed. We had the story book bible but felt we needed something else now they were a little older and this is the most beautoful expression of the heart of God.

I did some photos for Om baby this month which is a beautiful ethical brand focusing on indian print fabrics. You can see more of the pictures we took on my Instagram but their items are definitely ones to treasure and we’re hitting up a summer wedding in them because we have to right? All matching!

A health product I’ve been loving is this Magnesium from Sweet Bee Organics. I’ve taken magnesium throughout pregnancy but have been lax on it since, so it’s been great to try the balm and rub it on my feet each night and my head when I’ve had headaches. I’ve only noticed positive things so far, and no joke, the first time I put it on Lazarus he did his longest stretch ever of sleep?! If you haven’t done any research into manesium, it’s well worth a dive or take a look at the reviews on the Sweet Bee page!

I’ve been loving these songs: Cathedral by Melissa and Jonathan Helser and Abba, I know from the new Elevation Rhythm Album, Saturday morning dance parties (Joseph introduced the kids to the Venga boys!?), walks at Knepp Estate, this wild garlic pesto, and these anzac biscuits on repeat and finally, if you’re longing to grow something but are unsure how, why not take a look at Pot Gang! They sent me a box to try which means we’re now growing cucumbers, sweet peas and oregano. Will keep you updated…

That’s all for now! Have a wonderful June everyone!
