It was whilst I was pregnant with Heppy back in 2017 that I watched the documentary The True Cost. It exposed the horrors of the clothing industry, both for the people making the clothes and the impact production has on those who wear them. It asked something of me, and through tears as I heard the stories of those forced to work long hours with little pay, I decided then and there to break up with fast fashion. I wouldn’t buy from somewhere again unless I knew where it was made and how.
